Siargao Island Hopping Guide: Naked, Daku and Guyam Islands (Plus Sohoton Cove)
Sandbars, boodle fight lunches, jellyfish lagoons and a party boat. Here's everything you need to know about island hopping in Siargao.

Siargao is famous for its waves, but ask anyone who’s been and they’ll tell you: some of the best days happen on a boat.
Think sandbars in the middle of the sea, long lunches under palm trees, snorkeling over coral, and a lagoon full of gentle jellyfish. Island hopping is where Siargao shows you its softer, slower side.
This guide covers the most popular island-hopping trips from General Luna, what to expect at each stop, and how to choose the right one for you.
The Classic: Naked, Daku and Guyam Islands
If you only do one boat trip in Siargao, this is usually the one. Three very different islands, all a short boat ride from General Luna.
Naked Island
Naked Island is a small sandbar surrounded by clear blue water. It gets its name from having no trees, no buildings and no shade. Just sand, sea and sky.
It’s beautiful, but it’s also exposed, so bring sun protection and don’t plan to stay for hours. A visit usually lasts around 30 minutes to an hour, which is plenty of time for a swim and some photos.
Daku Island
Daku is the largest of the three, with a long stretch of white sand, coconut trees and a small local community. This is where most groups stop for lunch.
It’s the perfect place to slow down, find some shade and enjoy island time the way it’s meant to be enjoyed.
Guyam Island
Guyam is tiny, green and very pretty. It’s surrounded by shallow turquoise water and framed by palm trees, which makes it a favourite for quick swims and lazy lounging.
Doing it with Happiness
Our Happiness Tri-Island Tour visits all three islands in one relaxed day. Here’s what our tour page says you can expect:
